Bruce, don’t bother quoting scripture here - it’s as useless and ineffective as praying is to help cure cancer. And I completely understand your not wanting a counter-argument using that very same scripture when you write “by talking against normal people wearing clothing made of more than one material, or eating shellfish”. Use of any ancient, Bronze Age texts as part of one’s intellectual arsenal is, as you say, completely retarded.

If you are willing, I would like to encourage, challenge, etc. you to read two amazing books: The Shack by William P. Young (NY #1 best seller for umpteen weeks) and The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning (an ex-Catholic priest).

So many ask, “Is that all there is to life?” and I want to scream, “No!”
